Last week when I was driving with four palm trees towards Dalston Lane I had a lovely conversation with Rob, the taxi driver. He was just making the big exam for the black cab for which he has to know every little street of London, how to come from point A to point B in the shortest time and all the points of interest that this big city offers. While driving through Altgate he showed me this little fish stall called Tubby Isaacs which was established in 1919. Placed around big fancy buildings it looks like a fragile piece of history, lost in time and space.
